New bartenders who want to learn more. Up and coming bartenders who don't work in the big city and have access to brands & training. And home bartenders who DON'T want to get geeky, but DO want to make banging drinks.
If you're an aspiring mixologist, who likes super juice, acid adjusting, clarifying and a sous vide... fair play, I admire you, but this isn't for you.

This playbook will never be finished. See it as an ongoing brain dump of everything I've learned over the last 30 years and everything I learn in the future. I'll continue to update it weekly, for many years to come.
What is it and how does it work?
This is not an app, it's access to a very simple Desktop & Mobile friendly website built in Notion. And for those that don't know, consider Notion like Apple Notes, just on steroids. Aside from building this Playbook in it, I actually use Notion for all parts of my Business, from an Events Task Manager, to my YouTube planning tool.

The advantage of Notion though over a traditional website, is that I can edit and add to it on my Phone, meaning, if I think of something really cool while I'm on the train to London, 5 mins laters, there's a brand new page, or an article for you to utilise!

I can embed anything from Videos & Files, to my weekly emails. I can share other useful websites and tools with you. I can write Blogs directly into it. And I can upload a new cocktail recipe in less than 30 seconds.

But I think the best bit, is that it actually acts like a database. So when searching for recipes, you can narrow your search down by spirit category, rum type, other ingredients, even glass type! For example, 12 months from now, If you're looking for another 10 recipes to use that bottle of Kota Pandan Liqueur in, et voilà, a click of a button and you'll have a list!

Hence why I say it'll never be finished. It's already a decent size, as I've been working on this for a few months. But 12-24+ months from now, it'll be x5, even x10 the size of what it is now! With my vision of it becoming the ultimate Bartender Resource!
