The Plough, shepreth

Each month you'll taste some Rum and make a Cocktail...

...and maybe learn some stuff too!

(And from time to time, we'll also have guest Brands too)

No previous experience with Rum is needed, but we will be tasting some Rum neat, so you can understand a bit more about the worlds most diverse Spirit Category. BUT, if you really don't like neat spirits, fear not, as I've partnered up with Franklin & Sons to lay on some amazing Mixers than can truly showcase this amazing spirit.

These nights are all about Fun, Enjoyment, Education and creating Memories.

No pretentiousness or geekery is encouraged!

As a Cocktail Bartender, my angle is always aimed towards Mixed Drinks and Cocktails. While we do taste spirits neat so we can best understand them, I understand that the mass market is more concerned with longer drinks.

4th april 2024

Theme;

An Introduction to Rum

Cocktail;

Mojito

I'll lay on 6 different Rums showcasing the very broad styles of Rum. It's crucial that we start here, so we can pave the way for future months where we take deep dives into different styles.  As for the Cocktail, the Mojito. It's always the very first Rum Cocktail I teach, because it's the cocktail that always changes peoples perceptions when they taste a proper one!

Tickets are live, via the Plough's Eventbrite page
